Oreo Café (Doha Airport)

Mondelez International wanted to explore new ways the world’s number one cookie, Oreo, could engage with consumers in the airport channel. Purple leveraged the insight that whenever Oreo was added to a recipe, such as milkshakes or cheesecakes, these items invariably became the instant best-seller. Purple developed a unique Oreo Café concept for airports, featuring an Oreo Creations bar, launched first at Doha International Airport in partnership with Qatar Duty Free. This award-winning concept saw a Purple-led launch communications campaign achieve over 22 million impressions in the first few months. This unit has become one of the best-performing of the 65 dining outlets at Hamad International Airport.
